muffler
hello what muffler is everyone using for a stock 02 neon with 2.0l engine mine is to quiet i need some good sound
I ran a straight pipe system for a wk (no muffler/cat/resonator) It was obnoxiously loud. Car meets loved it but certain cities didnt. Now I have two flow masters in the tunnel like the srt4 has resonators. It sounds like an r/t to me. Quiet but with a tone where you can hear yourself.
Have car-have car problems. Have srt4-have speed problems

I have the Thermal R&D axle back (similar to the r/t dual). I love the way it sounds as do many others on here. Retails a little pricey, but just stalk eBay daily... Good deals pop up on there all the time! I got mine barely used way below the price of a new one!
I'm Going to Drive My Neon till it Dies Club #102

Can't seem to find a sound clip of the dynomax, thermal, or that ebay one. I'm sure there are more sound clips of other setups floating around out there.

Yeah, I'd stay away from the ebay exhausts if possible. Unless you can find a good deal on a used brand name cat-back, I'd go with one of the camaro mufflers.
The magnaflow is pretty cheap now: http://www.truckpartshub.com/product/ma ... al-muffler It's $68 now, but was $90 3 years ago. Can't remember the part # for magnaflow/dynomax ones.
