Needing a pic from those of you who have the srt4 exhaust rear piece & have cut it & rewelded it to fit the rear lip cutouts.. yeah that's pretty much it. Just wondered if it was fairly easy to do & where y'all cut it, Shortened it at. [/url]

yeah, i just measured twice and made some templates so that both sides were pretty damn close to being equally cut out.

I don't see what the picture would do to help you.

You measure how much needs to be cut away, divide it in half to get the amount to remove from each side. Then you cut.

It's pretty simple. You obviously don't cut the material away at the tips, but at a section that goes towards the side of the car.

Yeah see I was just making sure I wouldn't have to hack up a nice new shiny rear srt4 piece up & degrade the flowness of it. But I see now that it can be done cleanly & without messing up the flowness of said exhaust. The 3nd.

The srt exhaust flows HORRIBLE stock. It necks down to 2" and then has that stupid Y design. It's not good for flow at all. If you want flow, go with a n1 muffler, or straight pipe. I'd keep your R/T muffler and get a 3" downpipe with a cutout. Best of both worlds. Sexy looking stock exhaust, and loud high flow when you need it.
