DMC Spotted

Post by UriahRR » Sat Jul 02, 2011 10:30 am

Well yesterday at about 5pm I was picking up some rolling rock for a good friday night from the distributor right in my town, and as I'm about to back out of the parking lot with the mustang, I see a very odd, but VERY recognizable tail light in my rear view mirror. Being a car freak, I instantly turn the car off and throw off my seat belt and run over and start taking pictures.

Fucking awesomeness it was...

I've seen only ever one of these before and it was the Back to the Future one down in Orlando Studios. Since I see that as more of a movie prop than a car, I got super excited for this one. It was beautiful... Should have asked the guy if I could sit in it....

I get to see one every day. Ask Ryan (sidepipe).

He says you know you're close to Kyle's house when you see the Delorean

There is a guy who works down the street from me that has his DMC done up like the movie car. I mean exactly. "Working" flux capacitor, digital adjustable display (set to the 1985 date), the massive rear faceing intakes, everything. It could be the movie prop car, it's done that well.

I'll see if I can get the pics my son took of it.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Cool. Everyone can throw up their pics, I really love super rare old cars like this.

Saw a Jaguar E-Type going down the road the other day, even that was enough to get me going.

Could very easily have been the same one. It had two husky looking guys in it with a few cases of beer in the back. In the video, it makes the left hand turn at the traffic light. If it were to follow that exact road it turned onto (Route 512) for about 15 minutes it would end up going through Saylorsburg, then Stroudsburg, then up near Lake Wallenpaupack etc. So if you live up in that area, it may have been the same one.
