I got a set of practically new SRT rear struts for a song. I installed them today and everything went pretty good.
The passenger side brake line bracket bolt broke off in the bracket, so I just left it hang... I noticed that when I come to a complete stop and I jab the brake kinda harder than normal...the rear brake makes a noise.
The noise sounds like when you're sitting at a light waiting to go and you kinda drag the brake a bit....that sort of grinding noise it makes. It does that but only from the passenger side rear.
I ruled out anything else by setting the e brake and rocking the car...no noise. Then I put the car in park and my foot off the brake, then rocking the car...no noise. Only when I put my foot on the brake and try to rock the car I get the noise.
I was wondering of it had anything to do with the brake line bracket hanging in the breeze. I might have to zip tie that sucker.
Everything is tight and I triple checked everything...everything went back together perfectly. I will say that I didn't really crank down hard on the rear sway bar links....if they are a little loose, perhaps they make a similar noise?
Strange noise, any suggestions?

could be that bracket is scraping on something in the wheel. I would definitely check that before you wear though the rubber hose and have larger issues later on.... like no brakes
