I don't have true twins, but my 3 kids are all very close in age.RADARsx 2.0 wrote:aweee....so cute. But i'm not wanting to sound rude. But i'm so glad i'm only having one. I don't know if I could handle two at once....My hats off to all of you twin's parents.
First 2 were born 50 weeks apart, #3 arrived 51 weeks after #2
It's very difficult. I commend parents of twins+ Dunno how you manage, but my hat's off to you!
steamer1227, congrats to you and your family. I am also up in the Poconos area (work in east stroudsburg)

Thanx guys. It's def dif with twins. Lol. But crap three that close together. Wow man my hat off to u. I kinda needed some time between mine. Lol. That's cool that there is some more poconos members. I travel to east stroudsburg often. I haven't had the neon out in awhile though. Need to fix her up first. Maybe I'll see u around. I'm actually from Easton originally. Grew up there.

How are you guys dealing with sleep? Man my other two kids never made me this tired. Wow man its like Im running on empty everyday. I did notice that getting 2 hours of sleep feels like 8 hrs. lol. I must say though that both the boys were in the hospital last week for 5 days due to RSV and pnenumonia. They were on breathing treatments every 4-5 hrs. Also my wife had surgery to remove her galbladder last week also. I think thats what the crazy part of it is.. just that its like we lived at the hospital for the most part and I still had to run my house that is about a 30 min. drive from the hospital.
Wow... I am glad your twins and wife are doing better.
As to sleep, I will let you know when I actually get some.
I am usually up around 4. Wife still gets up when one of the twins is crying in the middle of the night. (She does this to let me sleep).
Anyways... I average at least to 5 hours of sleep a night. I am waiting for it to get better. And if someone tells you "It will get better at 6 months". With twins that is a load of crock. It takes longer, we are now at 9 months and things are getting better. I get my occasional Saturday to myself to just unwind and relax. I usually take this time to go see a movie that is in theaters that I want to see. I am a stay at home dad, so I know what you mean about running on empty. So much, that my times for driving have been cut. I don't drive at night that much anymore, and I find myself passing out on the couch around 2 in the afternoon due to not getting enough sleep.

Couple pics from our last photoshoot. They weren't as cooperative with this one as they have been in the past but they can move a lot more now than they have before.
Anna (she was all over the place and was hard to get a pic of)

Sam

OH NOES ANNA IS ON THE LOOSE...

She seriously just took off while we were getting Sam in order.
Sam did NOT like the grass at all

My little ladies

Steamer: Our twins are now 18 months and driving their dad crazy. lol They definitly are active. Both are running and such and starting to say some small words and imitate but that is about it. We have an appointment to see a speach therapist to see if they are just slow in talking or if there something else going on.

How the hell do you guys regularly drive your Neon's with two car seats?
The infant seat (with or without the base) was bearable. But, not with the convertible seat it's ridiculous. I'm glad it's not a regular need to drive my Neon with the car seats.

You just have to find the right ones to fit your neon. I had another set that was in the neon but they ended up being too big so the wife's car got them and I found ones that were smaller.
These ones work fine for me. I just had to learn to drive with the seat not so leaned back.
And I have the seat pushed all the way back.

Ahh, We didn't buy these for the Neon. They are mainly just the extra set for me or my mother in law to use when needed.
If it was a regular driver, I'd be ditching these seats.

I did however take both car seats and my youngest daughter somewhere( i think to the store ) one time since the van was out of gas and plus i was in the middle of changing the brakes, and man was it super tight driving that thing.. lol. I'm 6'4'' and around 295 lbs. so yeah enough said .
hahahaha.
it was like everytime i touched the brakes i was feeling like this little guy ------------>
also here is a picture of my two little guys. The little one on the left was our little guy that was in the NICU for a few days. The scratch on his head was from his big brother next to him. They dicided to have a slap battle with wooden blocks and the little guy lost. lol. no more blocks for a while lol.
