"Racing Stripe" Question

Well the neon got a makeover while I've been on deployment for this past year and to top it off I think I want to put some "racing" stripes on it. I found some on HoG, I was wandering if anyone knew the size of the stripes on the ones in this picture.

Color of my car is Atlantic Blue, and I'm looking at Matte (Flat) Black, think this would look good?

Pretty sure they are 10 inch stripes with a 2 inch space in the middle. And I think the E blue and matte black stripe combo will look nice.

One more question if anyone doesn't mind answering: I am about to order the Seibon GT Carbon Fiber hood, would this look wierd with matte black stripes on it?

I think the stripes will look weird on a carbon fiber hood. If you color match the hood then you're golden.

Those stripes are 10" like r34 said

This car isn't blue, but it has matte black stripes going over a CF hood. It may help you decide:

Man I didn't even realize you asked me that other question I don't think they will look good on a carbon hood, but if you do color match like everyone else said should look good.

find a blue stock srt hood maybe? color matching a carbon fiber hood would be a waste of money,.. unless your really only buying CF for weight redux and not looks... but i think everyone buys it for the looks dont they?

Yeah it definetly be mostly for the looks, and sadly a Electric Blue SRT hood doesn't match my Atlantic Blue

well yeah that makes sense if the finish is deteriorating... i wouldnt color match a brand new one though..

that SRT makes me want to vomit lol

on topic thou. i would leave the stock hood for $ savings and a cleaner look. either do stripes or CF, but not both
