Might be bushings or something, there is plenty of stuff that could be squeeking. If they were replaced and the noise is still there, they probably weren't the problem. Not to say they weren't bad, just maybe not the ones making the racket.

should i jack the car up, and do the manual tests to see if my sway bar, strut links and bushings are all good? i work in a garage for a week, and when i was doing oil changes, the older, more experienced guys told me to check the brakes and shake linkages, sway bars, and anti roll bars for movement.

EDIT: could loose strut mounts also be a cause?

Strut mounts can cause noise, though normally the front ones are the common problem on these cars. Try laying under the rear of the car while someone bounces it (assuming this produces the noise). You can try spraying the bushings with wd-40 to test if the squeek goes away. If it's the bushings either replace them as needed, or lube them properly and be on your way.
