silverstones painted question?
silverstones painted question?
ok, i am getting a set of silverstones for the 05 dd and was kinda wondering what people thought of getting them painted a different color??? i have not seen any really pics of colors... i know a few have painted them. i have seen white mostly. . . not really a fan of the white and deffenetly not on a black car... idk
i was kinda thinking gold?????? NOT black. i hate all black wheels.
so the question is does anyone have pics of gold silverstones on a black neon??? or do you guys think it would be to much gold???

Silverstones are beautiful, rare wheels that in a few years will double in value. I say spare future buyers the heartache & leave them silver!
When I was looking everywhere for my SRT wheels, I was becoming very upset when every single person selling them had them nasty ass black. Sure, they might look "okay" when they are first painted, but unless you get professionals to paint them, within even a year they're going to be peeling & flaking...looking like shit. Leave them how they were supposed to be appreciated. My 0.02. G'luck.

Now look how sexy those silverstones are original
yes they are bbs wheels. but that is on my other neon. i have two. one is my dd. the other is my toy.
i got them home yesterday and cleaned them up. honestly right now i dont think they really NEED to be painted yet. so i am going to fix my control arm bushings then install them when they are fixed.
when i get them on the car i will have someone photo shop them gold and maybe black. just to get an idea when i do decide to paint them.
