i don't think i broke anything, but the garage that redid my clutch told me that the plate on top of the trans was worn, adn that my shift cables or rods were stretched.. idk what that could mean..

You have levers on shafts that go into your trans. My bet is you just need some Booger Bushings.

I ship bushings to Canada about twice a week, on average. No extra cost to ship to Canada.

I was thinking about picking me some Boogers, then I found some Aluminum bushings for the same price... So I told myself... "Self... your not a metalurgist Im pretty sure that Aluminum is harder than Urethane"

so My question is, has anyone ever used these? and if you have what is your opinion, these will be going on a stock shifter for now that will be cut down, and eventually replaced with a STS once I can convince my wife to let me drop the money for one.

You must also ask yourself, what is going to wear faster?

Answer: The aluminum.

The boogers will outlast the car. There is essentially no play with the boogers.

If you are pushing hard enough to compress the booger bushings, you are going to screw up your MTX. /end of story.

Edit: Oh, and there are no clips required with boogers. No need to yell "Jesus, where the F*ck did that clip go?" Because it is about guaranteed you will lose one.

Buy the BOOGERS!

One other thing to note...that Ebay set is for a SRT. The regular Neon uses 3 small bushings and one large one that doesn't come in that set.

You should still get the Boogers.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

If you use the aluminim ones, you WILL have to do upkeep on them and eventually replace them. If you use the boogers, you'll replace them and never have to look at them again. That's called fixing a problem
