Technically, this is the off-topic section, John. You can't really post-whore when your post count doesn't go up.

Why cry on a car forum about a girl? I don't get it. There isn't much we can do other than say:

"Oh, so sad. Keep your head up."

Which going by John's idea of 'post whoring', everyone posting sympathy replies in this thread would be sluts.

My ex wife left me when i was in the Military for a guy on "welfare" it's government assistance and he was able to work and that. But she left cause "he had more stability" wtf? but i moved on. happier and better without her.

The 'supposedly' 54yo man frustrated about a girl who doesn't want anything more than friendship. You failed to see that she didn't want you for anything more than that. You focused so hard on the idea that she would eventually come around, that in the end when it didn't happen, you got hurt. She told you she was 'on hiatus' because she obviously sees you are not emotionally stable enough to handle a simple 'no'. Yes, she probably dragged you through the shit, but how much of that is your delusional lust for her thinking that she is just stringing you along?

From what you've described, she continued on with life perfectly unaware of your desire for her. Or, if she was aware, she obviously didn't want to ever think of you more than the close friend.

From the beginning, when she showed no interest, you should have emotionally backed off. But instead you kept holding out, continuing your delusional thought-process and setting yourself up for defeat; she didn't do shit. You did it to yourself.

So, hurt by your own imagination, you needed to vent. Where could you possibly go? Talk to your family? Nah, nevermind, you're 54 - they're all dead. Your other friends? (the best answer) Or 2gn.org? Yeah, let's go create a worthless thread that only shows you are tied up in an emotionally-unstable imaginary relationship.

If you didn't expect anyone to call you a 'pussy' (which wasn't me in the first place lol) or rub dirt in your face about how you should man-up, then you need to seriously re-evaluate your life.

Believe me, I'm all for helping people. Whether it be problems with their cars, or problems with their lives, but there is a time and a place for everything. You need to talk to people face to face. Not rant on a car forum. It gets you nowhere; believe me.

Think of this thread as a crutch to put you back on your feet. You don't need people telling you 'everything will turn around'. You need a kick in the nuts (metaphorically). And as weird as that sounds, it's the best way to become as emotional detached from something that shouldn't have hurt you in the first place.

So are we making fun of you? or psychologically helping you?
