Power Steering Whine

Post by Notanexit92 » Thu Aug 11, 2011 9:28 pm

Well what I thought was my tranny whining today, was actually just my power steering pump. It sounds like it's about to take a shit!

Just a constant whine that increases in pitch with my speed! Sounds terrible! I checked the fluid and it's full, and the belt is good and tight. If it breaks I'm just gonna rip all the shit out like my other neon so I'll have more room to work in there.

Could there be a pinched tube or something somewhere down there? It's really annoying sounding! :beatstick:

Also when ever I turn in a park lot it feels like it's about to make my car stall because it's like it's working to hard?! It sounds really bad.

Most likely the pump is dying. If it still turns fine, there would be no blockages in flow.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.

Okay cool, I absolutely loved the look of my other neons engine bay with no PS or AC stuff. So clean!

Plus it's more manly! Manual Steering FTW!!!
