bumper question... what to do!!!

so im in search of an srt front bumper and hood, but have had the shittiest of luck find a good condition eblue.... ive grown extremely tired of teh sxt front w/ mopar lip ONLY due to the fact it rubs the shit out of my BFMIC, the grille inserts are constantly being popped out, and i cannot use an aftermarket crashbar....

however, ive always loved the look of the 01-02 r/t front w/ an srt4 hood and hd lip. question is:

Will mt MPx BFMIC fit behind the r/t front without a shit load of trimming? anyone try this yet? and most importantly, how much efficiency would be lost due to loss of air flow to teh top of the intercooler? ive already been thinking of how to fab up an airdam to help this problem

I think the 01-02 bumpers give you a little less room for an intercooler than even the 03-05 non SRT bumpers. Add to that a BFM and you will be doing some serious trimming methinks.

Damn, I wish I had something to offer up on your WTT post. All I've got is crap-ass projectors

Check out Sirvalent's or whatever's R/T. Front bumper is pretty hacked.

lol yeah i really really want some coons... know if the depos from modern are worth it? im thinkin of buyin those and sellin mines..

but ive seen the one your talikn about. but i think he's got a stock srt intercooler? idk

i wanna stuff a BFMIC behind one

Ah shit that's true. Yeah, his is hacked to SHIT and it's a stockie lol

eBay sells coons for ~$91 shipped. Scoop them and sell your (black housings?) to me for like $65

A LOT of cutting has to be done at the corners for the intercooler to fit an R/T bumper but I was able to do it on Dan's bux R/T bumper and retain the "teeth" and everything. It still needs a little more trimming but it fits fine.

is dan running a stocker? i figured triming would be involved but i was just wondering how much. i wana keep it clean w/o having to get rid of my BFMIC. and keep the "teeth" would be schweeet!
