Well in my never ending desire to make my own goodies for the car I have made yet another. After making and selling my first heatshield I was in need of another. This time I wanted to spice it up a little bit.
I took my extra modern performance decal and set to work. Painted the shield in grabber green first, baked it to cure the paint, applied the decal, painted the shield with dei hi temp paint and let it air dry for a little. Then proceeded to remove the decal. After decal removal shield got baked again to cure the dei paint. Here are the final results.

Yeah it was the only decal I had laying around. A nice 1" tall sticker would be perfect.
I have 3 more of the shields that I made. I'm debating about seeing if there is any interest in them.

Interest.
Did you make it yourself? Or just put the sticker on?

Very nice work, would look better if the logo wasn't cut off when installed (maybe if it were across the top or something). Still cool either way.

If you read his post, you would know the answers to both of these questions.

Read the post Mox, it's not a vinyl sticker.
Paint, then dried, then sticker applied, then painted, removed sticker, paint dried.

^haha "might do that with a 2gn sticker" implies using the same method if you ask me, so Mox still fails!
