what paint were you shooting?RADARsx 2.0 wrote:No, It's a spray gun. First try. Think I'm gonna need to sand it down and spray again. I think there was something with the paint. It was suppose to come out gloss. But has a velvet swead texture to it. Why? IDK lol
Don't really know any of that. I did it at my dads friends body shop. I assume it was all set up properly. He said I appeared to do it right. He thinks it was the prep I did to the paint. that maybe I messed up there. Not too sure. He's gonna redo it for me....well I will have to re-prep the surfaces again and he'll make up the paint and spray it. I just thought it would be fun for me to try my hand at it....didn't work so I know I have a shit ton of more experience and practice loltheTeejmiester wrote:what paint were you shooting?RADARsx 2.0 wrote:No, It's a spray gun. what was the settings on you gun? do you know how to set your gun up?
what pressure did you shoot it at?
what size compressor?
either you are using a too fast reducer or thinner, low pressure, moving the gun too fast and holding the gun too far away from the surface, or a combination of the above.
Until i know more about what you did(or didn't do) and your set up I can't really offer you too much more, let me know and Ill try to help you out bud![]()
