Yeah they just don't look right with a neon.
Drove my neon until it was killed in a flood.

I say nope to those, they are a cool design, but not for a neon.

Ya, I only spent $40 on them so I should be able to get that back on craiglist or ebay.

going to be getting some springs soon to lower my ride for right now and see how things are and have to raise the exhaust up. Wasn't sure how the mirrors were going to be and they do look out of place. I would be able to drive my vehicle without mirrors, would get pulled over and ticketed(same thing if I ride around without a bumper cover).

Let's see... it's about the farthest thing you can get from an F1 car, so no, of course they look terrible. Even on sxxxt's car (also with a body kit), they still look like shit.
There, I told you what I knew you wanted to hear. In your heart you know stock looks a million times better, so do it man. Let me know if you need anymore convincing.

Going to pass on them and paint my stock ones making them look smoother or get some ones that are smooth and have that stock look to them.

I don't think they look that bad. Not worth $55 shipped, since we know you paid $40, but I'd colormatch the tiny little housing and rock them.

you should first finish all other problems of the car before you scratch your head about the mirrors.
short said: car looks like trash (at the moment) mirrors do not help

I know the car looks like shit, I know it would look better stock. Its money is tight and get just my car repainted yet. I know if I stop by the small things I would have enought to paint it. Just dont know what color I what to paint it yet.

Paint it invisible.
edit... after seeing your for sale thread, I'm sad that you were happy with your car before but as soon as you joined 2gn you were pressured enough to sell what you formerly thought looked good. Remember man, it's not for us. Do whatever you think looks good, even if it's keeping the bodykit.

I like it, it remines me of an early subie or mitsu. The skirts I dont care for and would change throughs along with the hood, tunk, rims, and etc. The car is going to be a car show somewhat. The line of work I do I will be in a truck or van. My car will be in a garage and only brought out on good days or when I need it badly. But when I just post some pics of it for an update and get so many negative remarks, it hurts alittle cuz of the time I put into it. It might not look the best, but its fun to drive though.

He's 100% right man its your car and what you like is important I again am not a huge fan of the body kit but its hard to like it when its not matched to the rest of the car I get that its expensive to paint or whatever but having the kit unpainted makes it stand out in a bad way.
Before you ditch the kit all together why not get r34neon to photoshop the car a few colours you may like or even all silver so you have more of an idea what it would actually look like.
And then maybe people also would be able to see more what you are going for and less of the body kit sticking out like a sore thumb.

Errrmm....maybe you shouldn't. Just change your statement from "quick as shit" to "fun to drive". It will end better that way, trust me.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
