Need help from gamers! Anybody got an EA profile?

Post by jonnymopar » Wed Sep 21, 2011 1:00 pm

I'm trying to create a profile on the Electronic Arts website, and I can't. There's a spot for one of those Captcha boxes where you fill in the distorted letters to continue. Only problem is, that box will not show up. If you try to continue, it says that what's entered is wrong. I've tried it on several computers with the same result.

Plus I can't email them and inform them of the problem. In order to contact them, you need to be registered!

If anybody that's already registered with EA could take a couple minutes to let these numb nuts know that they're website isn't working, I would sincerely appreciate it. Either that, or if anybody knows what the webmaster e-mail address is, could you give it to me?

It could be that you need to update your flash player, especially if you recently upgraded your browser (IE 9). Make sure you are using Adobe Flash X. Also, if you recently upgraded to Windows 7, be sure to install Java and enable it on your browser. Win 7 does not come with Java installed anymore. Go figure.

I do have an EA account though :)
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Flash has been updated on all machines I've tried this on. One thing that I didn't try yet is FireFox (not that it should matter). I'll try it on my fiancee's desktop tonight.

Make sure you don't have some kind of ad blocker enabled that's blocking it.

Huh, I don't get it. Now it works. Same computer I tried yesterday and this morning, no new updates. They might have fixed it today.

I just bought a Samsung Convoy 2 and the list of games for it is pretty underwhelming compared to my old LG VX8360. The Samsung Convoy 2 isn't listed as a supported phone on EA Mobile, but I already have one game downloaded from EA that works fine. I'm wondering if there's a different phone that I can select on their site that will give me games that are compatible with the Convoy 2.

If there's two things that I'm techno-tarded about, it's cell phones and games.

what game is it that worked and what file type is it do you know?

If you can get an idea of that I can look into what type of phones run the same games.

edit: You likely won't know the file type since you didn't manually upload the game thats fine.

Right. All I can find is the software version, but not the actual file name.

I really miss BitPim.
