New Job

Well tomrrow I offical start my new job. The pay kinda stinks being only at $9hr, but am post to be getting 40+ hours so hopefully I will be able to make some cash. Its better than nothing and will help on some winter mods since I don't really have any bills. Well wish me luck.

Any job is alright.....not having one is the worst. So dont put any job down or feel bad about it. congrates man, keep up the good work!

Thanks man, best part is that its Mon-Friday. Be able to go to meets on the weekends, if the car is up for it.

That's cool that it's mon-fri. And 9 is bettet than the 7.50 that i'm making. Where are you working?

You're 21 and making $9. When I was 45, my rate was $9.41.

I'm sure $9/hr is better out in MA than it is here in CA. Congrats on the job!

Thanks, am working at a local body shop as an detailer and helper to the mechanics or painters. Did my first day and wasn't to bad. Hours do rock, they are mon-fri 7-4 with an hour hour-half lunch.

I'd rather have my half hour lunch. That's an hour sooner I am home.

When I worked at a car dealer it was an hour lunch. Being it was in the middle of nowhere, there wasn't much to do.

But then 7 to 4 with 1.5 hours lunch, and getting paid for 8 hours isn't anything to complain about. Unless you are only getting 37.5 hours per week.

I believe its going to be 40hrs a week. I know the manger and owner stay until 5pm for customers.

Thankfully that still holds true. But it still doesn't make life any less stressful.

I just started at a body shop making only $7.50 an hour with only 25 hours a week, i'll gradually move up.
