Right Hand Drive though. So unless you're delivering the mail it would be a bitch to drive in the US.

No radios either. I bet they had like no options. Do they all not have wheel covers?

I would certainly buy the whole lot if I had the money. Of course, if I had the kind of money to buy all of them, I would also have the money to have them converted to LHD. Hey, if you're going to dream, dream big!

Back to reality- just because these cars are "new" doesn't mean that rubber parts haven't rotted and moisture hasn't done a number on them. From the dust layer in the pic, I would imagine that time has taken a toll on those poor cars.

This is a similiar situation as VW Beetles in Mexico. It wasn't that long ago (and you may still be able to) that you could buy a brand new 1967 VW Beetle in Mexico. It was actually a very popular car.

You can prolly still get new Jeep Cherokees (XJ) in China also. Daimler sold the dies to them. The Beetle was the same deal.

The neons all look to be 4 doors also. :(

But even at having to replace some fuel system parts, the door seals, etc can't be any worse than the ones currently on the road. At least these have been in a somewhat stable environment. (More than sitting out for 14 years in ohio weather)
