Hey, just curious... a buddy of mine is looking to do some upgrades to his 2gn. Anyways, he asked me about what he should do. I replied with, how much do you want to spend?. He's unsure. Anyways, I got thinking and was wondering if this setup would work. My biggest concern is the piston/rod setup.
Engine:
*2.0 Block
*SRT pistons
*Forged 2.0 Rods
*01 2.4 Head
*SRT turbo/turbofold
*SRT intake manifold, etc
*2.0 DOHC Cams
Fuel:
*Walbro 255
*SRT injectors
*Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
ECU:
*2.0 ECU with a AOBE Map clamp
*OR MegaSquirt
So that being said, is it possible to put the SRT pistons on 2.0 rods? Cause if I'm not mistaking the 2.0 and 2.4 use the same bore, however they both have a different stroke. I'm obviously missing quite a bit in this, so feel free to throw in more information!
Curious... would this work....

The wrist pin height in the pistons is most likely what keeps that from happening.
I'm sure someone has tried it tho.
2.2 pistons, I believe are the same bore, but they don't work either.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
