I have been thinking about going back to an stock radio for a better/cleaner look and was wondering if I can use an amp with it or no. I know this is probly been up here before, but if anybody could help I would appericate it.

if you need a hand man hit me up....

but to answer your question yes you will need line converters to convert your speaker wires into rca jacks. I can hook you up with those... it wont be as clean as an aftermarket deck but it will work..

If you wanted to go crazy...I just picked up a mint RB1.... temporary till I finish my double din bezel.. Those are the cleanest stock decks for our cars..Comes with nav as well.... BUT they are expensive and hard to find.

He meant the wiring part wouldn't be as clean as oem wiring. As far as looks go, that part is hidden from view. But from what I understand, yes, you should be able to keep the current amp to speaker wiring. The factory HU will connect to the amp, via the line converters.

Ill pm you..if you want I can have you come by on the weekend and ill help you out.

the speaker wires coming from the amp go to a box that convert the signal to rca jacks. the rca jacks go to the amp and then you run the amp to the speakers in the car...

Pm on the way
