Post by SinfulNeon » Sun Oct 16, 2011 1:50 am

so I found someone selling a SRT4 front sway bar and I already have a rear one installed but I was wondering where can I find the hardware for it?

I found this

http://www.andysautosport.com/plymouth/ ... 18209.html

but please tell me that hardware cant possibly be that much? and can I find it cheaper also will all I need is this as well?

http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/pr ... rod=5.8107

Is there anything else I would need?

You can re-use the hardware from your oem sway bar, I did when I put on the pt 24mm front sway bar.

I dont have a front sway bar on my neon, so I have no original hardware to re-use.

I see, that changes things a bit. Yes you will need those end links, price seems right. That hardware kit seems way over priced though. I found some on jc whitney SWAY BAR BUSHINGS

Those are the only ones I could find online. Your other option is to grab some from the junk yard or call the dealership and hope they don't charge that much. I've seen a universal one from energy suspensions at autozone pretty cheap, kinda looks like that jc whitney one.

Yes, you do have a front swaybar on your car. EVERY Neon has a front swaybar.

it looks like a thick bar that connects the wheels together. It is towards the rear of the motor. If u go to MPX's website it is the one with only 2 bends in it kinda looks like a huge smile ( \____/ )
I'm not a doctor I just google it!
