wanna get lower

Post by TheDirtyBomb » Fri Oct 28, 2011 1:40 am

So I currently have tokico illuminas on my 05 SE. I suffer from the 1/2 inch dillema in the front. My wheel gap in front is 1/2 to 3/4 inch larger or "higher from the wheel" than the rear, which the rear wheels are perfect.

When I got these they came with the tokico springs. The advertised drop was 1" all around. Was alot more than that for my SE.

What im wondering is if I bought the SRT eibach sportlines for the fronts. Which is an advertised 2'' drop will it get me a nice drop. I really want a raked look.

Any experiences or opinions on mix matching springs or on what Im looking to do?

Thanks.

if you really want the rake, then you are going to need coilovers so that you can manually adjust the height. that being said there is more room in the rear wheel well than the front and as such it will look different even if the drop is a universal drop.

I would advise against mixing springs and they are generally sold as a set and meant to work as such.

Also when it comes to the rake it is not about the wheel gap with the fender but the height off the ground. I have my rake set from the first pinch weld behind the front tires to the rear pinch weld in front of the rear tires at 1.5" rake. the overall height of the car is 3.5" at the front to 5" in the rear.

Everyone knows that for breasts to be "perfect" they need to be within reach.
