Few updates

so i went to the junk yard and picked up x2 hood struts. and applyed it to my car.
here is a bracket i had to make. just a piece of metal twisted and then a screw that was welded then grinded on 1 side.

total cost 4.99 for two struts and i didnt even use the second strut.

it was a chysler... i wanna say a 300M i think the dodge intrepid is the same thing. but i know its bigger dodge with hood struts... i will go to a diff junk yard and get another strut and let u guys know for sure.

oh my god - russian engineering...
it looks poor and (i think that is more important) totally instable!

why did you not just drill a hole to install a ball head screw for the struts??

I think it turned out pretty nice actually. I prefer just one strut over two.
But the home made hinges opt me out of this mod :/
