Questions about axles, transmissions, differentials, pretty much anything that connects the engine to the wheels, this is the place for those questions.

I was curious how much a 5 speed swap is and how difficult it would be for my 2003 ?

It all depends on how much you can find the used parts for really. Difficulty, I would probably say hard for those who are unfamiliar with what they're doing. I suggest grabbing a couple buddies who've done it before to help you out :D

Here's a how to:

Im at about 700 in parts right now and I still need some odds and ends and that was with me getting a PT Cruiser tranny(3.94 gearing) for 300 bucks. But that is also with a Maddog short shifter, and mopar linkage with booger bushings. Still looking for a pedal assembly and PCM, not to mention someone that can flash my vin and skim. I know you can go to autozone and order pcms with whatever vin you have but they are over 400 bucks so yeah...

cost me about 300 for trans, pedals and all. 100 for computer and probably 100 for stuff like bushings and new tob and fork. Pretty easy other than figuring out the wiring for the speedo and clutch switch. I put up a how to article on it if you need help
