It's been 3 months, still haven't gotten my double din bezel... but got this message:

Image

I just wanna put my double din in :( plus my buddy is buying my single din that I currently have and he's starting to get impatient.

My cutout came in the mail today though!

$200 after shipping and fees

Forgot to add, it was my battery's fault with the starting issue, not holding a charge. Exchanged it under warranty a couple days ago and car starts up np now.

Finally put on the wingless trunk lid I had picked up

Image

AC_2007 and myself, when he came to pick up my mid rise spoiler trunk lid:

I started to debadge it when I got home, got about half way done but it's too cold out now. Too difficult to get the goo off.

This week should be a good week. My bezel should be coming, which means I can put my double din in. Also, by next weekend I should have a new piece to the build ;)

aaaannnnnddd I caved in and bought a proper set of glass RT fogs -____-

Finally had some time to clean the car up. Interior needed a cleaning baaadddd. Here's a better pic of the ACR's, they still need a good shampoo but that will be for Spring/Summer.

Here's a pic without the roof rack, still half debadged :p

Really want PVO now

My bezel FINALLY came in the mail today. I am extremely disappointed in "Brian Casey" and will be writing a review. I would not recommend his services to anyone.

There are a bunch of cracks and chips in both the radio/hvac bezel, along with the lower cubby piece. He didn't ship me back my defrost button, and also forgot the relay he told me he was going to send me.

We had a pretty fun snowstorm within the last 24 hours. The neon was a fucking champ! I was pretty much a plow... I also seemed to be one of the only cars not getting stuck. People just don't know how to drive in the snow -___-

I'm talking to Brian Casey now about the issues. He said he'll make a new one and ship it right away, I can keep mine in the mean time. He'll be arguing this with the postal office, he says this is from the treating the package rough.

I was just pissed that after waiting so long this is what I got. Cracks, missing pieces, and in total $225.

So... got the double din in after work tonight. Just have more problems with the bezel. Gauges don't seem to fit, the bezel won't sit flush, it cracked even more (I tried to put it in as gently as I could). This is a fucking joke :(

If my buddy Adam Correditti that owned soundwaves was still in hamilton I would have sent you to him. He is amazing at fiberglass custom. I have a gauge bezel similar to yours but with 3 gauges ....have had it for years no cracking paint is excellent no problems with the gauges fitting. that guy is a joke :cussing: I had my buddy adam also do a huge stereo in my old neon 99 r/t that was at the CNN one yr. He was one of the first neon guys along with myself.... he currently lives in yellowknife NWT.

The guy has already started making me a new one. He said that this is the first of 40 to do this. He's got a good chink done within 24 hours. Funny that this took about a month before to get to this stage.

Image

I sanded the insides of the gauge pods so that my gauges would fit in nicely. I also trimmed part of my dash that was causing the bezel to sit closer to the left because of the gauge pod. It all sits soooo much nicer now, and looks pretty good (minus the cracks and chips).

Figured out the double din, and played around with it. Got my settings to how I like it ;). I kind of wish I had gone with one that has a tilt screen, just because it sits so low, but I'm happy with it.

I bought more stuff..........

RRIIIMMSS

- XXR 530's
- 17x8.25 et40
- 205/40

I'll be getting some spacers, thinking 10mm f/15mm r (hubcentric with extended studs of course). I wanted a 205/45 but I'm happy with these, especially for what I paid.

I also picked up a PVO :D

Yank those ricer centercaps, and you're golden on those things.

Sucks you're in Canada, eh. I'm genuinely interested in your old setup if it isn't sold yet.

Yeah, I'm taking the SRT off the centre caps. Will probably leave the CF wrap, don't know what's underneath.

They haven't sold yet. It's winter, not too many people are buying rims
