This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Post by sxxxt » Thu Nov 10, 2011 12:43 pm

so since its been getting cold iv been using my heat more and more..... last winter when i would turn my car up and let it heat up it would b so hot inside my car. but now it takes way too long for my car to heat up... and sometimes it feels like the heater isnt always letting out heat... like its not hot or cold just air, comming outta of the vents...

so am i crazy... or is this a common problem... or possibly my heater going bad?

is your radiator fluid full and fresh? have you had any issues in the past with the hot/cold diverter control?

Is the temp gauge at it's normal position when warmed up? Are both heater lines hot when the engine is running?
