gauge cluster flickering???

gauge cluster flickering???

my battery died in my 2000 plymouth neon the other day so i jumped started it, it started fine and drove fine but noticed on the way to the gas station that the gauge cluster would flicker all the lights on & off and the speedo & tach would jump up and down speradically....what would ause something like this

Your operating voltage is too low, either casued by a bad battery or a bad alt. I would lean towards the battery. Have a battery and charging system test done on it. Most "auto" parts stores do these tests for free.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

sweeet thank you guys for the quick response! :Rockon: been needing to replace the battery anyways so ill have 2 put a new 1 in and go from there. Also need 2 order LFS overdrive pulley for the alternator.
