pwz help. :(
so im driving home today and realized my cluster lights didnt work. and there wasnt much i could do about it then so i just figured id wait till i get home. not to much longer after that i see flashing lights behing me. so im thikning o great now what. anyways turns out my tail lights werent on. so i stopped at the gas station and looked through the fuses and found the culprit. but for some reason i pulled the fuse out for the skim instead of cluster but jsut stuck it back in not thinking anything. anyways i put a new fuse in and it blew instantly. so im assuming theres a short somewhere. but now my remote unlock doesnt do anything. if i push the lock button it beeps the horns but doesnt lock the doors. and if i hit unlock all i hear is a clicking under the dash. wtf did i do...

Your multifunction swtich probably took a shit, the cluster lights going out and taillights not working (but brake lights working) are hallmark signs of the switch dying. The autozone part is a Mopar part but it's available much cheaper through them.
As for your SKIM, I'm not sure what you did to it by removing the fuse so I can't help there.

alright thanks i figured thats what it was since that seems to be a common problem. and now that i think about it maybe the fuse for power locks blew because they dont work inside either.LilSparkPlug wrote:Your multifunction swtich probably took a shit, the cluster lights going out and taillights not working (but brake lights working) are hallmark signs of the switch dying.
