tried to install my red one today, but the left front hole for the coil pack is bigger than the rest, does have threads still, but the bolt just spins, is this a defect? mines a 2000, do the 03s have a bigger bolt just for that hole? it also didnt come with an oil cap
i guess i could just use three bolts, but im picky.

I dont see why they would make one coil bolt bigger than the others

maybe you should call them and see if you can swap yours for a new one? that doenst soudn right to me about the bolt

the oil cap that comes with it is pretty cheap, it doesnt click to prevent overtightening.
mines still in the box until i do my header install =P

well i hope mine is the only one that is like this, also didnt come with spark plug tube seals. im gonna call mancini tomorrow. hope this wasnt why they were so cheap. the left front coil hole is about 1/8 in bigger, not much, but the threads dont match the others. i could prolly fill, drill and retap, but why bother?

dam it that silver matches the body color
i ordered the red instead because on their site it looks more of a gunmetal color.. oh well hope red engine accents will look good

Looking for an '04+ base model front bumper in silver. PM if you have one you want to sell.

A warning to you guys installing these! Do NOT overtighten these bolts!!! I did and managed to shear one of them!
Also, I just noticed I don't have the plug seals either. Do I really need these? If so, can I take them off the old cover or do I need to buy new ones?

Yes, you
definately need them.

You could use your old ones if they are still nice and soft. Also, to be sure not to damage them, you'd need a seal puller to get them out properly. It would be a better idea to buy new ones. They're cheap....I dunno how much exactly though.

Thats what I figured, I'll have to swap covers back tonight then. This is becoming more expensive then I orginally planned. New bolt, new seals. This sucks.
I just called the dealership, seals are about $10 each. These were supposed to come with the cover right? Other pople have gotten these with theirs right? If so then I'm calling them up tommarrow and see whats going on.

Yeah, I'd be on the phone with them. They're priced good, but they should definitely come with everything you need.

Damn dealership prices. That is nuts. Depending on what pans out with the place the valve cover came from, go to
http://www.moparsupercenter.com and order them. They'll be way cheaper. Hopefully you won't have to order them.

Wasn't able to find them on supercenter. Anybody have the part number for them? Hopefully I should be able to get them from Mancini.

Just ordered mine, in red, of course, but I didnt get the total price - at least it was just really different than I have ever done before. It did not charge shipping, etc... so I guess I got it for cost????

They send you an e-mail once they send it and then tell you how much shipping is. From what I've seen its like $5-$10

PN is 4777042-AB
They are $4.21 from MSC
(edited, so you can copy and paste that number into the search at moparsupercenter.com. You do have to put "make" as Chrysler though)
