Making my introduction...

Post by 2gn2uner » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:05 pm

Hello out there, welcome me with open arms. Embrace me with hugs and high fives, shower me with praise and accolades fore I am a Noob to this forum. :D

For real though, Hi folks! Been signed up for a few weeks( maybe a month) finally took some pics so I thought I would introduce myself.

I'm Shawn, picked up a 00' Plymouth Highline last month for super cheap and now in the process of making it better. Mostly maintenance and show, to keep a nice and clean ride on the road.

Appreciate the help I've gotten so far and looking forward to all that is to come.

Here are some pics from the iphone after I got some new tires and hubcaps, I need to wash and detail the ext & int next. I know I gotta tackle the rust thing first.

thank you all..... 2GN has been very good to me so far.

My wife owned a 98( i think), and her 2 brothers owned SRT's. 1 still does. When the neons first came out though, I couldnt stand them but over the years seeing a few tuned/hooked up right(many of them on 2gn). I couldnt pass up my chance to get one when oppertunity knocked. I think the PVO/AVS spoiler is what finally sold me.

Now, I just cant make up my mind on if I want to throw on an SRT front bumper or the regular 03 bumper with the mopar lip. They both flow well with the SRT sides and rear bumper but I'm conflicted for some reason.

Do what I did. Molded AVS/SRT rear bumper and 03 front with lip

Or a full color change and SRT clone like I did with my daily driver. Started as a black 05 sxt

Both of those look nice, I like the black roof on the red. I'm gonna do that for sure. I wanted to change the color of the car but with 2 toddlers at home, I just cant justify painting a perfectly good car just because i'm not a fan of silver. I am however leaning more towards "srt clone" look with PVO wing, not molded though. Maybe an srtd bumper.
