Thermostat housing Gasket?

Hi guys
I need to know please if I replace the thermostat ...does the housing need to be removed to put the thermostat in? if so does the housing use a gasket and would you have a part number

and yes my thermostat has already a gasket

I don't think the housing has a gasket, the service manual doesn't mention it. Yeah the housing needs to be removed, just 2 bolts.

The gasket ring around the t'stat is the gasket for the housing too. Just be sure the tab in the t'stat matches up with the notch in the housing.

The gasket is with the thermostat.

If you take the assembly apart and use the same
thermostat be sure to replace the gasket.

The gasket was reused on my old Neon and the
coolant seeped from the location... it actually had
me flippin' thinking it was the head gasket again.
