Today after a quick afternoon ski trip
Got the stock rims back on with 4 W70 Blizzacks on. 2 of them brand new as of last week due to a tire vs. lag bolt incident.

Thanks man,
I can't wait to start modding the evo. Unlike our neon's you can just tune the evo with a laptop straight to the factory PCM/ECU. I have been doing nothing but researching ever since I got the thing in the driveway. Soooo much potential in the stock engine & turbo.

yup. shawn come buy for another ride along
I am all set for the winter. I picked up 4 225/45/17 W60 blizzacks for $75 with 1 season of use on them. Gotta love when your friends change their DDs to garage queens.
BTW the EVO forums so far are no where near as good.

All you need is bigger injectors and maybe a upgrade fuel pump..Switch to e85 and raise the timing and boost and watch her fly!

I wouldn't do e85 in this for 2 reasons. #2 the properties of e85 collect water and rust out internals quicker. #1 there isnt e85 for like 200miles or more. It would be easier to buy aviation fuel.
After tons of research it looks like my goal (and it is atainable) is going to be 360whp with 93 on the stock turbo. but for now she is gonna be stock and I am gonna try some autocross events in the AS category before i go nuts modding.

The neon looks great, I prefer it to the Evo (I'm an odd one). Good luck with your goals for it though!

Neon looks good man. I'm with lsp on I prefer the neon over the EVO, but I've never been a EVO fan. I like cars people love to hate, lol, thus the neon is perfect. As for e85 causing problems, its only going to happen if its allowed to sit stagnant for a period of time and gets moisture in it.

E85 in New England isn't really stable so he's right, it will be rather tough to manage. I've never been an EVO fan either. Test drove one before I bought the SRT and just liked the SRT so much more all around so I'm with you Valiant!

the car has already proven it's worth in it's first week. I got caught in mid turn on black ice down a hill. I was able power out without an issue. If i was in the neon I would be replacing my front lip right now.
