street concepts new rear

Post by Paralyzer » Wed Jan 11, 2006 9:51 pm

didn't know if you guys knew about the new bumper that have come out with but it is the M power rear bumper. I was wondering what you guys thought about it. I was going to get the WW kit, but I let time pass me by and it was sold b4 I could get to it today. So I am back out searching for another kit. I kinda like the rear bumper of the M Power, but I can't decide what type of front and rear to go with. I am thinking about getting the Evo5 front with this rear...not sure yet what type of sides yet. Let me know what you guys think about it.

Here is the link to it:

Would only like it if the J and L shaped holes in the center had custom shaped exhaust tips in em...

yeah I knew someone would say that! LOL. Just waited to see who would be first.

This is what I wanted, but someone around here already has the same setup but in gold, and I don't know if I should "copy" in white or not. What do you all think?

The eBay link you posted has a much, much better looking bumper than the one from street concepts.

I think for the 03+ the SRT bumper or a lip from Mopar/Kaminari would look the best.

The "type x" bumper in that ebay link is the same as the kaminari bumper

Image

the one in the ebay link is also for a 00-02, but this one ^^ is for 03-05. personally, its a bit too big for my tastes

as for the first link, the m power...IMO, its WAYYY too over done and flashy...I dont know if anyone could pull that one off.

a lip kit would be nice though, esp. on an 03-05

Well I can sort of speak from expeirence about the 'too pricey thing'....I have the full R34 kit, when i bought it, i found it on www.bodykits.org for sort of cheap, but then i found it on www.extremedimensions.com for a couple hundred more, and I almost broke down and bought the cheaper kit.

Body kits are one of those 'you get what you pay for' deals. I went w/ the one from Extreme Dimensions and it fit nearly perfect (for a fiberglass/aftermarket kit). there are no gaps, everything lines up great.

Take my advice and spend a bit more and get good quality stuff. Youll spend alot less money in the long run, trust me. Dont buy a kit from ebay, those are usually the worse ones 9 times out of 10, thats why they go for so cheap.

Ya I really don't like that at all lol. I'd go with something simpler and cleaner looking.

Only a black car could pull it off b/c you wouldn't see it really  I'm not usually one to knock shit b/c I know everyone hated the Razzi kit I had but... this bumper... holy crap. I like it except for the middle stuff. What's going on there? Weird shaped holes. Dunno....

Yeah I agree, this front bumper is not that bad. I wouldn't get it lol, but it's not that bad.

That very first rear bumper by street concepts...wow. That's not a good wow either. A good wow is something like Jessica Alba at your front door with nothing but an overcoat on.

The second rear bumper (the type X on Ebay) isn't too terrible either. I've never been a fan of the muffler there--unless you're driving a Ferrari. If I had a choice, I'd go with the type X instead of the Street Concepts.

The back speaks for itself....which is totally not good speaking. The front is not nearly as bad, BUT the kit, IMO, just looks really cheap. Kinda reminds me of some of the early "aggressive" body kit style's for the '00-'02's. Yikes
