To 03-05 swap the 02? That is the Poll

So here is my car as it sits right now. As you can see, it is desperate need of some body work and paint :banghead:

So the question I am faced with is, Do I restore the factory 02 look and then mod, or do I take the opportunity to do a 03+ swap? Here is what I have in mind... Kaminari front viper bumper (k010827 Dodge Neon Viper Front Fascia) with the pictured Kaminari Viper hood (K010817C Dodge Neon Hood Type-V with Carbon Insert)
http://www.kaminari.com/dodge-neon-viper-fascia-2003
http://www.kaminari.com/dodge-neon-type ... nsert-2000

Thinking of running SRT-4 Skirts, and a SRT-4 wing, and for the rear, I was thinking a Mopar Lip wrapped around a 03-05 neon or preferably SRT rear bumper.
For the headlights

and for the tailights, MOPAR 3D baby!!
http://www.leeparts.com/dodge_neon_srt_ ... ights.html

I just wrapped up the Slate interior swap, and the car will be recieving tint in Janurary. Once all body work is done and new bumpers, skirts, wing, and lips are installed. She will be repainted Atlantic blue. Let me know what you guys think, and if anyone has some pics of that front bumper or hood installed feel free to post em up. And, if anyone wants to take a crack at photoshoop this dream for me, props will be given.

Thanks guys

I almost went with the '03+ Viper front, but I hate the turns in the headlight. Mainly because I have noticed at certain angles from cars that have that set up, it is impossible to see the turn with the head lights on. This is a problem at 4 way stops. I have enough problems with ppl hitting my car. So I stuck with the '00-'02 fascia.

I did debate using the fog light hoes for signals with the '03+ fascia tho.

For the rear, I have the '03+ set up, with the '01 Hammerhead spoiler.

I would fix the body first tho. Then spend for the "extras"

Oh yeah its getting body and paint, make no mistake there. I hear ya on the corner lights. I plan to either run the LEDs as turn signals in the mpx headlights, or possibly run a retro fit depo coon set. Just depends on the budget however, I was wondering about the foglights in the Kaminari bumpers. Do they just use standard 96-99/03-05 fogs? Or, is it a special fit assembly. Thanks OD

My bumper actually came with driving lights for the lower holes. They work pretty well for what they are. And have actually held up time wise better than any of the aftermarket lights I have purchased in the past. IIRC, they are Pilot brand. If the replacement fascia came with lights, the bastids at the body shop stole them. The lights in there are the original units. About 4 years old now. The bulbs are even original.

If you do swap, I want that silver rear bumper!

Also, Bill, as Dan is doing and the guys overseas have, there are sidemarkers that you can set to blink with your turns. I intend to do it for JDM madness, and not for ANY other reason.

I've always loved the 02 front end + 03 rear end combo. I'm not too fond of the 03 front or the 02 rear. Take glasswars' car for example.

I'm also more a fan of the LED depo tails than the mopar tails. And I also like retrofits better than projectors.

I like 02 fronts with 03 rear, and just add some kind of lip and call it a day.

@PD I hear what your saying. I plan on a full SRT4 body package with the exception of front bumper and hood. For those, I plan on using these. (Not my pics. Courtesy of kaminari)

except in blue. I do plan on keeping the carbon fiber insert on the hood, and they make a carbon fiber cover for the front grill I would use as well. SRT skirts, door caps, rear bumper, and spoiler will make it to the car for sure though
