Terve!

I'm pretty new Neon owner from Finland. Got it in trade with my old MX-5 Mazda. I've been happy with that trade and now riding black -03 Chrysler Neon 4-gear automatic, 173000km driven (that's about 107000miles).

We don't have many Neon's here (finnish "Craig's List" Nettiauto.com has only 142 Neon's for sale) and scene is quite small and not so active. Tuning parts are hard to get, especially coilovers. Cheapest one is BC-Racing with price 690€. I have somekind of obsession to slam it and put some Corvette wheels in it :P

So I'm happy to join your club and see some activity here :) Nice!

Welcome! I pulled your post out of that other thread and gave you your own. Enjoy your stay :D
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Welcome! I love seeing neon owners in other countries - that's so damn cool. Post some pics of your neon on the streets of Finland so we can see! :)

Thanks! Will post pics when I get my car cleaned next time. Snow + salt makes car dirty all the time :/ I was about to trade Neon away and buy a cheaper car because I mostly travel between home and work (only 6miles to work and back. Primary car is Opel Astra Wagon -05). I tested one mk3 Golf but the price was high and it was so damn poor to drive so I changed my mind that I'll keep the Neon and start putting some money in that. ;)

And I need to polish the whole car. I started that before winter and didn't had time to finish the project (2-step polishing, first step done only). So if sunlight shines straight, paint looks horrible with all the swirls in it!

Quick OT question cos I haven't yet searched for right topic to ask about this:

Does 2000-2002 Dodge Neon and Chrysler Neon 2gn has the same front and taillights? I really hate that carrot-color in taillight's :P Pictures looks pretty much the same... Or if you know where I can find the answer would be great too! :)

Yes the US tails will fit your car. I'm sure you could find someone to trade you. You may need to rewire the lights tho, because the turn signals are different.

The fronts are the same, other than possibly being euro spec. But AFAIK, they are a bolt in.

Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.
