interesting... saw a black SXT on a Dodge lot...
Just saw a black Neon SXT on a Dodge dealers used lot...
the newest it would have to be would be a 2005, that would make it least 7 years old now that it is 2012
I thought the dealer lots dont sell anything over like 3 or 4 years old?
..or does it go by mileage?
(actually had a salesman calling me from this same lot everytime they got an SRT-4 in... but he stopped calling be a couple years ago)

agreed, as long as they can make money off it they'll try and sell it.

Some (not all) dealerships will sell you whatever they can to make a buck. My current dealerships management have descent, but high mileage vehicles for sale for those with lower credit and can't afford a new vehicle...

That prolly hurt a lot of dealers when things took a turn for the worst a few years ago. They could have sold some of those "less desirable" cars. Wouldn't have saved them from losing their franchise tho. But it would have been money on the books. No one was buying the new ones anyways, so it wouldn't have hurt new car sales one bit.Danteneon wrote:True, dealers will normally only try and resell lower mileage cars if they are more than 4-5 years old.
I bought a lot of my cars when I was younger, from the stock sitting at the back of the lot. The greed wasn't as bad then I guess.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Tell me about it. That is exactly where we were a couple of years ago when Dodge yanked themselves from us. While we still had Subaru, we had no money for new cars (our floorplan for both lines was financed through Chrysler Financial). Used cars were all we had for a while. Dark days indeed.occasional demons wrote:They could have sold some of those "less desirable" cars. Wouldn't have saved them from losing their franchise tho.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
