I really cant say the other .org is THAT bad. There are quite a few jerkoffs... yes. Thats to be had on a larger forum like that. But there is TONS of information there! Owning a 1st gen as well, i dont think i could ever completely convert over here. Though, i do like the attitude this forum shows more.
NoDestiny: 2004 SXT Silver MTx: CAI, Mag Intake, Mag header, Custom made mufflers, Grounding kit, Mopar STS, boogers, Eibach springs, Rear SRT4 struts, 29mm + 24mm hotchkis sways, MPx UPD, Street Prothane MM, P-werks rear strut tower bar, Lots of fun goodies inside, see WWW
.org just has the cliques and groups of people that think their opinion is better then all others thus should be done their way and only their way.. .org is only useful for information (always get a 3rd.. 4th.. 5th opinion) and sometimes the forsale section, other then that i dont even go there anymore.

My biggest problem about .org is they have a lot of very useful info there, and it is all basically unusable due to lack of organization. You spend so much time searching for stuff that you know is there and can't find, it's very frusterating when you know a simple lack of laziness could fix it. Add dickhead mods treating the users like children to the half-assedness and it just gets better.

I visit the org only becauase of the Rally/road/auto-x section.
Apparently not many people are into competitive driving in here, or probably its cuz we dont have that kind of section.

i got banned from there because on another forum that one of the guys hosts another member dared to call the forum "OUR" forum... the guy flipped out and started raging on about how its HIS forum, HIS AND HIS ONLY since he pays the bills. needless to say we made fun of his lame ass and here i am
as a whole though the other .org is full of lame, broke asses that got nothing better to do but to get off on bashing other's work. and what do you expect, when a large portion of your member base does nothing all day but hunt the junkyards for "hidden treasures" and manage their for sale threads....
when you realize how brutally outclassed you are and the kind of crazy upgrades they can make with ease, you realistically have no chance of being competitive. the only event you can beat the srt is in autocross because few will have agressive camber, they all have wide turning radii, and are too stiff from hotchkins bars and stiff suspension to really rotate well around tight corners. also, the front wheels are struggling to put 300+ hp to the ground so noob drivers can make a dog's dinner out of it quite fast... i was faster by almost 2 seconds than a young srt driver last summer, with nothing but basic mods as you know. that's the only reason why i promote auto-x so much here
srt forums has all that info and more, and the srt and the parts for it are a lot closer to the parts for our cars vs the 1gn stuff that most of them know about... a lot of those guys are doing one lap of america and a lot of competitive road racing, i was very pleasantly surprised! there are also a lot of track events they are organizing, including driver training and actual races on cool tracks like Laguna Seca...but be forewarned, you might end up like me and say screw it, it's just not worth it to mod a 2gn, and bite the bullet on an srtBaal wrote:I visit the org only becauase of the Rally/road/auto-x section.

At least you found us. Of course, there is justice at Stop Mod Abuse if it matters. The guy who pays for the forum should remember that a forum's members make the forum. Without them, all he's got is a web server and a one-poster forum.rice_eater wrote:i got banned from there because on another forum that one of the guys hosts another member dared to call the forum "OUR" forum... the guy flipped out and started raging on about how its HIS forum, HIS AND HIS ONLY since he pays the bills. needless to say we made fun of his lame ass and here i am

mmm and the last time i road raced in a small track i were faster than most of the srt-4s and i had cracked rotors
