belt tensioner replacment.

My accessory belt tensioner is done with. Can I replace the pulley alone or do i have to replace the tensioner assembly.

The pulley can be replaced alone, though, if your tensioner is done, you'll need a new tensioner and subsequently the entire engine support plate.

You must also remove the motor mount plate to change the pulley. If you are close to timing belt/water pump/timing tensioner time, (105,000 miles) Now is the time to do it. You are half way there.

Ah ok the pulley does need to be replaced. I'll also check the timing tensioner.
Are you guys using a T-40 for the pulley bolt.
