Is there ANY difference between an 03 motor and an 04?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Is there ANY difference between an 03 motor and an 04?

I thought I was buying a 2005 neon SOHC, but it turned out to be a 2003. I want to put it in my 2004. The donor motor was attached to an automatic, my car is a stick. I would like to use the wiring harness and all of the sensors that came with the 2003 motor, as it only has 5,000 miles on it. Are there any snags that I'm going to run into with this swap? Thanks a lot for any help

Nope, they are the same.
ASP - First NGC SOHC in the 13s and the 12s. First SOHC neon over 500whp. First NGC Neon on MS.
