My car will be 8 years old on Feb 14 so....
94,000 miles (iirc, haven't looked at the odo in a while) / 8 = 11,750
It has only been driven about 4000-5000 miles in the last 4 years due to me having a company car. 1000 miles of that was my honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, CA.
Before I stopped driving it the car was getting about 22,000 miles a year.

I wasn't going to post my mileage because it wasn't anything special (119,730) But I got to figuring...
In Aug 2008 my car had 111, 872 miles. 3.5 years later I'm at 119,730. So that averages out to 2,245 miles a year. I go to Carlisle every year which is 238 miles round trip and maybe 75-100 miles of driving around while at Carlisle. So that brings me under 2000 miles a year on a car I drive every day. No wonder I forget what gas prices are between fill ups
Sorry, I was bored.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Best job perk ever, I don't even have a car registered (in my name) right now, haven't since we gave my sister my '04 SXT for a wedding present. Out of all the cars out there, just the '04 SXT and the astro van are registered, both in my gf's name. The Astro only gets driven to the dump, when I need to haul something, and when I go somewhere without the gf. So not very often. The '04 gets about 70 miles a day, 5 days a week, so it'd be about 18k a year since we live out in the sticks.racer12306 wrote:It has only been driven about 4000-5000 miles in the last 4 years due to me having a company car.
But it's nice not having to pay for gas in my DD since it's a company vehicle.

Psh, no one reads stickies, or FAQ's, do you think we would follow instructions too.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

I was gonna say, if we're playing that game I've got all your asses wasted: 17k miles on a 1989.Public Disturbance wrote:dont countsidepipe87 wrote:0 miles on my rebuilt SRT motor. suck it.
My Neon's nothing special. My mother has 78k on an '02 Stratus and my father has 58k on an '03 S-10. Both relatively low.

She knows she can't drive it anymore -- due to both her age and the condition of the tires -- but she still likes to know that it's 'there', just sitting in the carport.jonnymopar wrote:Eeek, keep that thing off the highway!BigMac wrote:My mother's 02 Cavalier has 17k on it, and still wears its original OEM tires that are now leaking from dry rot.

29870 over 11 years is 2715.45 miles a year for you
20305 over 7 years is 2900.71 miles a year for me so yea you beat me

I payed 900 for my turbo r/t with a blown motor. At 56k with srt seats, full body kit, carbon fiber hood, side exit exhaust srt rims. I pretty much got the deal of the century, IMO LOL. My step dad is a master tech so we took the motor out of my old neon, and sold the shell for 1000 and covered the cost of the new car. i Just hit 60k on it.
Around 58k on my 05. Daily driven and my only car for all of it's life up until it was retired from the road six months ago when I got a company vehicle. I've put maybe 1000 miles on it since said retirement. Probably one of the lowest mileages for a daily driven car.
