Well, I bought this car for a song and a dance, knowing it was wrecked in the front. It's been a Florida car it's whole life, and just over summer, brought up to Hanover, Pennsylvania where the previous owner had moved to. In December, he spun around a corner, and with the car being lowered, it nose-dived into a tall street-side curb. It pushed the bottom of the radiator support into the intercooler, radiator, folding it in about 6 or 7 inches. His insurance did not total it, but he did not want to fix it. He put the car for sale cheap, and I bought it.
I brought the car home yesterday, with the help of my friend and his Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI Diesel.
I got it home, and threw it up on the lift in the garage to get a brief examination of what I've got myself into. Notice the last picture, the frame rail is tweaked outward about 1/4 inch. Gotta figure out how to draw that back in....
....and this morning I came outside at 9am to tear the front end off the car to get started.
