So here is my photoshop I made for a competition on a car photoshopping forum I'm on, let me know what you guys think.

looks good but some things i don't like:

- at the rear bumper you can see the hard boundary between the car and the background
(a thin black line)
- somehow i can see on first sight that the car is not really standing there. hard to tell why - but it just looks not "real"

I think the shadow angle is off just a bit on the car and it would be nice to have some indication of speed behind the car (trying so very hard to say smoke), but something is just missing for me that links the car to the ground a bit harder. Other than that it is a job well done sir.

Looks great man.

The only thing that is detracting from the realism in the eye is the window reflection contrasting from the background. The original background could have been high noon at a glance, the shadows weren't all that prevalent. In your addition to the background, the hue makes it seem like the sun is setting, hence the shadows are more prevalent to the eye - then you get to the windows which are not the same hue as the reflected background, instead they're the same as the original car shot which was clearly not taken at sunset. It's such a minuscule thing, but I think it would add so much to the shot if the windows had one of those little glaring blinding spots and a reflection of the sun going down over the cliff. As it stands now, you have a nice sunset with windows reflecing overcast.

Damn, did I explain that enough?

Besides that and those fugly wheels, I love every idea you had with the car from the hood bulge to the side mirrors.

From what I can see It looks good man, picture keep s loading half way and the rest is grey, not sure whats up, do you gotta link to the thread?, I'd like to check out what every one else is doing. I might have to join up at this place.

Thanks man, the site is called autemo.com here is a link, http://www.autemo.com/forums/. You won't be able to access the competition section until you register but if I remember correctly it's easy and quick. I like the site, there are people on there from all over the world and they are for the most part really nice.
