Faulty horn?

Post by Zarvox » Tue Feb 07, 2012 4:13 pm

A few days ago I noticed that my horn does not sound. Fuse seems ok in the Power Distribution Center.
I think the alarm is on the same horn, and it works.

Any ideas?

Horn switch (airbag) and/or clockspring.

No, the airbag light seems ok. (checks, and turns off as normal)

If it's the switch, is it easy to repair or will it need special tools/parts?

The switch is integral to the air bag.

Mine just began acting up. I fear it is the clockspring. ($209.00)

Edit:
If you do not have Speed Control, this will get you prolly more than what you need, but it will also cover you if the switch is bad in the air bag.
