Headlights 01 Neon

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Headlights 01 Neon

Post by Xployted77 » Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:08 am

I have been looking around and comparing prices here and there. I figured the best place to ask is a neon board. I have a 01 Plymouth Neon, automatic (yeah I know, but the price was right on it), I would like to change out the stock front headlights and the rear taillights to a more euro style kit. Any suggestions on where to go and get them online? I just ordered the White Face Gauge overlays and 8 Wlex x6 (blue) and would like to work on the front of the car as well. Going for the whole looks thing. Anyway any suggestions would be great. Also would it be worth it to change to a MSD ignition coil/dist box or stay with the stock? I changed the plugs to the Bosch Double Plats and got the Accell wires (blue) yeah notice the color theme there. Just didnt get the msd box. Thanks for your time and for reading a long boring message that asks two questions.

ps. - As a side note I orderd the 2gn window decal lastnight too. Gota support the forums where I can. So not that im kissing butt for a fast answer but yeah. :owned:

Modern Performance has some stuff for a reasonable amount.

And could you please shrink your sig pic size? Thanks!

to answer your question about the ignition, just stay stock. also the plat plugs arent the best thing for our cars, stick with copper plugs from champion or NGK they're the best.

As long as those platinum's are running fine, leave them in. I got 40,000+ out of a set in mine.

MSD, and other performance coils don't really make any better voltage/joules than the stock coil. Their life span is also hit/miss. They cost $50 less than the oem one for a reason....

If you want to upgrade, you can go with a COP set up. (Coil On Plug)

For the headlights, I'd suggest getting the projectors. You can upgrade them to HID for pretty cheap.
