OEM emblems or tastefully similar?
Looking to replace the "Dodge" "Neon" on the trunk. Cannot for the life of me find the lettering to do so. Also "R/T" for the side doors.
And also "SRT-4" for the trunk. Did a search here and could not find anything.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm confused by this too..JeffM wrote:Wait, you want "Dodge Neon SRT-4" on the trunk and "R/T" for the sides?
I got my RT badge off ebay, paid like $13 and it's been great!JeffM wrote:Ebay, a junkyard, or the FS section would probably be your best bet.

I would imagine you'd just use a spray adhesive and line them up on a straight edge.MyNeonSaysHi wrote:Hmmm Well I can take the ones off the car and spray bomb them a chrome or silver. What would I use to stick them back on with? Adhesive Spray? Plus lining them up straight might be a bit difficult.

With spray adhesive, you don't want to apply the item while the adhesive is still fluid. So it shouldn't push out from behind if it is good and tacky. Just go with one light coat, and let it set for 15 to 30 minutes.
I would be more worried about the spray paint coming off the sticker.
The win part of the adhesive, is they could be removed if the get crappy looking.

Dealership gave me a quote of $70 for 1 R/t emblem
and after searching forever I came across this which is way cheaper, and it is just a decal.

I plan on buying this kit when I repaint my car later this year.

Got all the badges off. Checking that Classic R/T that is posted above and its a damn hat pin. Super small.
Still looking for decent looking OEMish labels specifically the "R/T" to go on the side door at this point. Decided to just repaint the Neon and Dodge on the trunk. Too be cheap looks like a vinyl sticker would be the best bet.
Edit: Found a good thread with good info!

Edit #2: Emailed houseofgrafx.com. They have produced quite a few custom decals for our cars so I thought I would give them a shot on the R/T. See if they can do it.

Not sure yet if I like the look, but I know I would like the ease of waxing around it compared to the originals.
