Chrysler grille emblem alternative
Was driving today and noticed that the rear chrysler emblem on the 05 sebring sedan looks like it may be the same dimensions. I'm gonna hit the junk yard this week and see if I can find one.
The dealer lists it for $55, so it's less than half of what the neon one costs. Even if it's a little off, I think I can make it work with a little cutting.

Even if it's an inch or 2 bigger, it should still work since the grille is pretty flat. If not, i can use a dremel and just shape to what I need. I'll find out as soon as I can snatch one up.

Finally found one, got it for $1. Most places won't sell just the emblem, one said I could have it for $150 and keep the trunk.
It's thinner than the neon emblem, so it doesn't fill up the outline on the grille. Had to pull out the dremel and do quite a bit of cutting on the grille. I'll probably have to sand it down and spray some black paint, but it's cheap and I got time.

There are a few on ebay that aren't too expensive:

The 2001 sebring lx emblem is 15 3/4" and looks like might fit the grille outline better, but I couldn't find one at the junk yard.
