Body Kit suggestions...

Post by Xployted77 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 7:17 pm

I am looking to get a body kit for my neon. I wanted to know a good place to look and shop with. Any suggestions would be highly welcome. Looking to just make the outside apperance a lot better. Thanks again for any help and suggestions.

I'm not sure you are going to get a lot of help here. If you have to do it, stick with something that is relatively conservative.

I have just the Kaminari viper front fascia. It goes decent with or without side skirts. IMHO, it makes it look more like a Mini Me Intrepid, than a Viper.

At the time I really didn't care for the '00/'01 front bumper and "grill". The car was totaled in the front, so I spent the money on that, rather than going back to stock.

If it comes to replacing it, again, I will prolly just go with an '02 style bumper.

Most of the bumpers are a little extreme, but nothing that is real subtle and classy. The few that are more conservative kind of look goofy, something just looks off to me.

The 01-02 r/t front bumper probably looks the best. Or the non-r/t 02 style with a custom front lip, those looked really nice.

That one and the buddy club kit aren't that bad, just wish they left the gills off the sides of the bumper.

Rear bumpers are kind of the same story, lots of wacky looking ones out there. I like the 03+ r/t rear or srt, just looks really clean with dual exhaust.

02 Front bumper, with the Mopar front lip. RT sideskirts and stock rear bumper with the lip kit. The kit is only 80 bucks for front and back and will give you the stock look while having some modification. Hope this helps

+1

I hope you're totally sure on getting a body kit, because most people on here got bodykits, then regret it and wished they went with more clean OEM looks. I also suggest a 2002 front bumper and lip kits. Check out this link for more help.
