Racing Stripes... Yes or No???

So here is the thoughts I am having. Getting racing stripes running up the hood, roof, trunk etc... Prob 2 stripes about 6" apart, black in color. Just want to know whom else has gone this route and how they feel/felt since doing it. Thanks all.

i have stripes on my car and im getting rid of this summer haha seems to attract more attention from the cops believe it or not. I've gotten pulled over for the stupidest things and just only get off with warning (like theyre looking for something else). Most recently was some guy drove beside me on a road to the mall and i got pulled over. i was in the slow lane just minding my own business and the other guy was the one who slowed down to stay beside me. Lead me to believe the stripes were the reason

definitely can make your car look better, but sadly no horsepower gain

I think they look good if its done right. Color scheme and size are a big part.

.... I saw a black Dodge SRT-4 with flourescent green stripes that ran from the bottom of the front bumper, over the hood, roof, trunk, and wing
to the bottom of the rear bumper
