Hey Guys I found these halo foglights on ebay and im wondering since the car comes with factory foglights then cant you just remove the old fog light housing and plug the bulb into the aftermarket foglights kinda like an aftermarket headlight works. I seen a how-to on the forums with a crap load of wiring and stuff and im wondering if you can just simply plug them onto the old wiring for the factory ones.

the bulbs themselves are plug and play... the halos are a different story.. you need to wire them to your parking light wire or whatever source of power you want to sent them to...

ALSO every set Ive installed for friends the projector is mounted upside down.... You will need to verify that before you install them... If you need to flip them you will have to take the lenses off and flip the housings around...

Yes, but what you are saying is i can simply plug the OEM bulb into these foglights? Because i am not getting these for the halos, just for the awesome look of them. But i need the functionality of the bulb so all i need to do is plus the OEM bulb into this?

I would generally doubt you can use the factory bulb, or connector to plug into those, but:
Easy installation with no modifications
PLUG AND PLAY – NO WIRING REQUIRED
That doesn't necessarily mean the oem type bulbs will fit, just the connectors will plug into the factory wiring. For $100 shipped, I would certainly want/expect no mods needed.

Not sure how they can deliver on the implied halos lighting seperately from the fogs, with "NO WIRING REQUIRED" though.

Sorry i should clarify ...the bulbs come with the foglights but are a different style compared to the stock ones..they supply you with the plug that will plug into you're factory harness...

As for the halo part each side has two wires positive and negative that you need to wire up in order for them to work ...

the "no wiring required" probably means it just comes with those easy connectors that just snap on. so you dont have to hack up your wires and stuff hah
