Factory Cd player ERR display

I have a 02 ACR with the factory CD player, and after about 40 to 45 min of playing a CD it will display ERR and not eject the CD in the correct fashion. You have to grap the CD and pull it out because it will try to take it right back in. Is this from overheating? Thats what I think it is from my experience but just wanted some more opinions. Thanks all.

Also anybody know how to reset the mechinism on a factory 6 disc Neon CD changer? I have one that doesnt appear to be jammed just plugged it up made a little noise and says ERR and all the lights blink on the changer. It would attempt to load anymore. Thanks again.

Kinda thinking the same I have about three factory CD players need to change it out. I was really hoping that somebody might know something about the CD changer though. I took it apart and extracted the CD's correctly and reset the mechanism but the electronics won't reset.

I have a 6 disk cd changer in my srt4 and anything I try to put in will give me the ERR message and spit it out as well, any ides here?

well I don't even really use cds anymore I'm probably going to get a new HU w/ an usb port like a bouse
